About The Role:

As a Senior Environmental Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our environmental projects, handling everything from client communication and project planning to budgeting and report preparation. You will lead and mentor a team of professional engineers/geologists, providing guidance, advice, and in-house training to support their professional development and growth. You'll also lead efforts to bring in new business, expanding our impact. This position will include a mix of both field and office work associated with environmental evaluations. You'll tackle complex challenges with innovative solutions, inspiring your team and driving our projects to success.

Project Review and Management: Serve as an initial reviewer on selected projects as well as independently scope and budget projects and prepare proposal documents
Field Operations: Plan and execute field investigations, including drilling, sampling, and data collection. Lead teams during fieldwork to ensure effective environmental evaluations
Design and Technical Recommendations: Prepare detailed design recommendations for complex or unusual conditions.
Mentor & Engage: Lead and guide staff, foster their development, and actively participate in industry organizations
Business Development: Cultivate client relationships and assist in identifying, pursuing, and securing new project opportunities

About You:

You have a Bachelor's degree in Biological or Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related technical field
You have a minimum of 8 years of engineering experience
You have a Professional Engineer (PE) license
You have excellent project management skills and team leadership
You have excellent business and technical writing skills

What to Expect:

With the use of Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Outdoor, hands-on work in all weather conditions
Traveling out-of-town (typically overnight) for assignments as necessary
Working outside of normal business hours when necessary
