Job Description In your new role you will: Install, configure and operate our complex Linux / Unix Infrastructure within our worldwide distributed data centers including high availability solutions Automate and continuous improve of all technical processes Monitor availability and performance including creation and customization of dashboards and alerts Troubleshoot and problem solving as part of 2nd and 3rd level support in cooperation with our internal customer as well as IT security support for the implementation of hardening / protection of the server systems and the running services on them Act as a Technology consultant for our customers, as well as the creation of architectural concepts and their implementation Independently takeover (sub-)projects from the design phase through development to productive usage Create technical documentation, training and training material Provide escort service for data center services at co-location area in Dallas Your Profile You are best equipped for this task if you have: Successfully completed a university degree in technical computer science (alternatively mathematics, physics with IT relevance) or have appropriate further training / relevant experience as an IT specialist. At least 3-5 years of professional experience in similar environments- ideally IT in a highly critical production environment Good knowledge of one or more of the following IT tools : Ansible, Python, Rundeck, Git, Bitbucket, Puppet, Foreman, Kibana, Zabbix Good knowledge of one or more of the following operating systems : Redhat, Ubuntu, CentOS, Solaris, HP-UX First experiences in project management Willingness to rotating on call (24x7) Independent, structured and methodical way of working Very good English skills and ideally German #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
