DUTIES: Develop software from firmware to application across custom embedded components for software-defined vehicles. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of new systems or modifications of existing systems. Contribute to defining future iterations of the product and help the team architect and design frameworks for high compute SoC-based systems from conception to production. Develop software and firmware on high-performance hardware, interfacing with Linux kernel drivers and system libraries. Develop or direct software system testing, validation procedures, programming, or documentation. Experiment with innovative hardware to uncover potential features for the product. Contribute to code bases written in embedded C or C++. Collaborate with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design systems, and to obtain information on project limitations, capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.

Additional Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Architect, Senior Software Engineer, Senior Technical Lead, or related role. At least five (5) years of experience in Embedded C++, Embedded Linux, Embedded firmware development in C or C++, Real-Time Operating Systems, advanced microcontrollers, and hardware probing during runtime for software analysis.

Compensation: The expected base salary ranges from $226,158 to $241,900 annually, with actual compensation based on relevant factors. Bonus potential is available based on company and individual performance.

Work Policy: Hybrid model – 3 days in-office, 2 days remote. Must be able to report to the local office.
