The expected salary range for this position is $123,300 to $137,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes a bonus and a 401(k). PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION In this key role, you will utilize your advanced technical and engineering expertise to support Solar Plant operations, acting as a resource and technical authority for your team. You will take responsibility for critical technical decisions and will possess a strong understanding of your functional discipline, as well as relevant industry codes and regulations. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Leverage your in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs. Conduct grid event analysis and provide actionable guidance to site operations. Oversee testing, review reports, and deliver constructive feedback to improve site operations. Serve as a subject matter expert, providing consultation and direct involvement to identify and resolve complex equipment and system issues. Lead both short-term and long-term engineering initiatives that significantly impact site operations, ensuring effective technical leadership. Execute assigned engineering tasks, applying sound engineering principles. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, maintaining standard design criteria and compliance with relevant codes in the preparation of plans and specifications. Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support various technical projects and initiatives. Recommend innovative equipment, techniques, and concepts to enhance operational performance, simplify construction processes, reduce costs, and address any design or material shortcomings. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 7+ years of professional experience, including at least 1 year as an Engineer 3A. Completion of designated skills and knowledge development training to achieve an expert level of understanding in relevant areas. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Proven ability to mentor fellow engineers in essential knowledge and skills. Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives at an asset or plant level.
