Are you passionate about designing the cutting‑edge facilities that power the world’s most advanced manufacturing? We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Boise, ID, where you’ll lead impactful projects across semiconductor cleanrooms, laboratories, and other state‑of‑the‑art industrial environments. In this role, you’ll guide designers, provide technical leadership, deliver quality reviews, and tackle some of the most complex engineering challenges in the industry. You’ll work directly with clients, owners, and contractors in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative setting to develop requirements and produce high‑quality construction documents.

What you’ll do

  • Perform, lead and oversee electrical engineering and design for facility power distribution, grounding, lighting, and low‑voltage communication systems.
  • Supervise designer work, provide team technical leadership, and perform quality reviews of design packages.
  • Prepare technical specifications and bid/construction documents; serve as Electrical discipline lead or QC reviewer.
  • Collaborate closely with owners and contractors and support construction activities on‑site.
  • Participate in proposals and deliver proactive solutions to client challenges.

Here’s what you’ll need

  • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Current Professional Engineer (PE) licensure with ability to obtain in State of Idaho.
  • At least 12 years of experience in engineering design of building electrical systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70), voltage drop, arc flash, short‑circuit, and load‑flow calculations.
  • Experience with electrical equipment specification, vendor submittal reviews, and field coordination.
  • Ability to perform site punch walks and work effectively within construction environments.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Semiconductor and/or mission‑critical/data center design experience.
  • Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a passion for continuous learning.

Additional Details

  • On‑site role at a client facility in Boise, ID, Monday–Friday, approximately 800 AM to 500 PM.
  • Requires field mobility including walking long distances, climbing ladders, working in tight spaces, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Travel may be required.
  • Must pass background check and drug screening and be fully authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship).

The base salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $180,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
