TDI is looking for a senior engineer, DOTCOM, to support a large Civilian, Federal agency either in VA, MN, NC or a remote location. In this role you will, work closely with stakeholders to implement, maintain, and troubleshooting F5, Akamai WAF/CDN appliances across select customer applications and ensure their peak performance. Experience with applications regarding PCI DSS 4.1, and malvertising protections for advertisement campaigns will be needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with other cybersecurity groups to coordinate and de-conflict protective measures.
Provide guidance and information to key stakeholders on the protection(s) that can be provided. This individual also provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, for the cybersecurity posture for client-stakeholders while also mitigating challenges/issues
Monitor and interpret traffic analytics to help identify malicious traffic.
Analyze and interpret raw data using Splunk and other analytic tools to and statistical techniques to identify trends and patterns and provide ongoing insight and visibility to management.
Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Provide ongoing support to existing monitoring capabilities and data collection systems. Provide development support for the expansion and implementation of new systems.
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities across a broad customer.
Help develop and document procedural guides, SOPs, process flows for the functions performed, and working towards implementing more AI responses for blocking malicious traffic/actors.
Contributing to the development and re-engineering methods to improve processes, reducing risks, increasing controls and/or increase customer satisfaction. Re-engineering processes with the application owners to incorporate machine learning which will facilitate increased securities and customer satisfaction.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in computers or other IT, Security related major; or equivalent experience
12+ years’ experience in IT, data, or operational analysis, and security
Advanced technical expertise with Excel
Experience with AI, business intelligence software, and databases (SQL etc.).
Advanced skills with statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Experience working in a fast-paced complex system and network
Experience in a very large enterprise environment

AWS Cloud Practitioner
LPIC Linux Professional
Security+
Network+, Linux+, Cisco Cyber OPs
