The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying cloud systems to support internal and external scientists. The Senior DevOps Engineer will work with stakeholders to establish security and functional requirements. This position is onsite at our Ann Arbor office or fully remote. Specific responsibilities Sr Devops Engineer will work with internal and external stakeholders to deploy cloud solutions Manage cloud infrastructure per industry best practices using Infrastructure as Code methodologies Implement and Manage CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions to build and deploy software systems Qualifications BS or masters in engineering, computer science or another related field preferred, but additional years of experience will be considered in leu of the degree 4+ years of experience in an IT-related role Strong working knowledge of the linux (preferably Ubuntu) operating system Strong working knowledge of AWS or other public cloud providers. AWS Certifications are a plus Active Directory/Microsoft experience is a plus Strong knowledge of CI/CD, GitOPS, Github Actions is a huge plus Strong ability to create infrastructure and data flow diagrams and explain decisions to stakeholders
