Job Description:
CAD Design Engineer: A brief description of the team/environment they will be working, i.e. size, reporting lines, fast paced etc. A fast-paced quantum computing hardware team with a large variety of projects requiring mechanical components and systems. Strong 2D and 3D CAD mechanical component and system design skills. Skill with Solidworks and/or Creo for design of mechanical components and systems. Working with other skill domains such as PCB layout, electrical design, system integration for generating requirements for mechanical components and systems. Experience and detailed knowledge of generating mechanical drawings and related documentation for manufacturing of mechanical components. Ability to manage time between concurrent CAD projects. Min: BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or related degree program with 5 years of established experience Prefer: MS in Electrical or related degree program with at least 2.5 years of experience Strong experience with Solidworks and/or Creo software. Experience generating mechanical drawings and related documentation for manufacturing of mechanical components.
