The Senior Networking Engineer performs activities with respect to network communications including configuration, installation, troubleshooting and management including LAN and WAN systems. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: Related certification preferred Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: Related certification preferred Experience REQUIRED: Position typically requires a Bachelors Degree with ten (10) to twelve (12)+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of related education and experience. Work is assessed through consultation and agreement with others to ensure long range targets and business objectives are met.

CCEI 12 years of networking experience 3-5 years as a senior networking engineer Core infrastructure (Data center networking) Candidate must be an expert in data center core networking to the ability that they can teach/mentor a junior network engineer. CCNP On hand technical knowledge or networking systems, protocols, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN technologies Experienced with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools Experience working in an enterprise switched and routed environment Working technical knowledge of current network hardware: o Cisco 9k switches o Cisco ACI o Cisco Nexus Switches
Must be within 1hr driving distance or willing to relocate to Richmond, VA
Remote/Onsite: Hybrid schedule for initial onboarding and training (typically around 3 months)- manager discussion for hybrid or remote opportunity afterwards. On Call Schedule once every 12 weeks.
