What You'll Do
Design, develop, implement, and test secure software solutions for embedded systems, autonomous platforms, and AI-enabled technologies.
Lead development efforts across diverse projects - from cybersecurity engineering tools to advanced simulation environments.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and DoD customers to solve complex technical challenges.
Apply deep knowledge of software security principles to develop solutions secure software solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities in real-world systems.
Contribute to the evolution of our technology and company as we scale - with growth opportunities into technical leadership roles.
Required Qualifications
Active DoD Security Clearance (any level)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
7+ years of hands-on embedded software development experience (C/C++, RTOS, ARM or similar architectures).
5+ years of cybersecurity software development experience for embedded systems.
Strong C/C++ programming skills with design and implementation of security controls across different development platforms.
Demonstrated ability to implement robust security controls in real-time and constrained environments.
Proven contributions to security design of DoD programs (e.g., AFRL, ONR, Army Futures Command).
Expert-level understanding of cybersecurity technologies, vulnerabilities, and mitigations.
Strong communication skills - capable of presenting to stakeholders, writing technical documents, and contributing to proposals.
Work Environment
Hybrid role with on-site work required in Raleigh, NC , Baltimore, MD area, or Huntsville, AL .
Core work hours are Monday to Friday, with flexible work schedules.
