This role can be remote or based in any of our office locations.
The Senior Collaboration Engineer designs, develops, and deploys solutions within the Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystems. Responsibilities include managing project lifecycles, gathering requirements, shaping application architecture, and delivering custom development and system integrations. The ideal candidate has experience working with cross-functional teams to develop intranet portals, custom applications, workflow automations, data migrations, and user-centric business processes. Key functions include:
Analyzing business systems and user needs related to technology solutions.
Gathering requirements and guiding end users towards effective solutions.
Recommending modifications, enhancements, and replacements for web and portal applications.
Maintaining, upgrading, and developing web and portal applications.
Leading troubleshooting efforts for web and portal applications and related integrations.
Developing and maintaining standards and metrics for site design, programming, and analysis.
Sharing knowledge and ensuring proper knowledge transfer among team members.
Providing quality assurance, testing, and documentation.
Performing project management tasks such as scoping, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Engaging with vendors regarding software issues and updates.
Coordinating with IT staff on deployment issues.
Responding to user issues and providing support, including after-hours assistance.
Performing other duties as assigned by management.
Technical Skills Requirements include:
SharePoint & Microsoft 365:
Building enterprise intranet and collaboration solutions on SharePoint Online using out-of-the-box features and custom code (SPFx). Developing Office 365 applications (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse).
Power Platform & Migration:
Creating workflows with Power Automate, Nintex, K2, etc. Leading data migrations to SharePoint Online or Microsoft 365, ensuring data integrity.
Web Development & Azure:
Developing UI components with React, Redux, JavaScript/TypeScript, integrating APIs. Using tools like ShareGate for migrations. Architecting Azure services like Azure Web Apps, Functions, Logic Apps, and AI Builder.
.NET Core & Other Skills:
Developing with .NET Core, C#, Blazor. Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, SQL, and source control. Understanding of Active Directory, networking, and security concepts. PowerShell expertise is a plus.
Position Requirements include a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in relevant fields, and specific experience in web development, Office 365 solutions, SharePoint Framework, and Azure services. Legal practice or process experience is advantageous.
