Senior Cloud Engineer

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing specialized expertise for the cloud providers used by the Government.
• Assessing and making recommendations for cost, security, and viability of IT projects in the cloud and supporting general engineering activities by creating, testing, and maintaining cloud-hosted IT infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other IT-related discipline and seven (7) years of relevant experience in information technology, leveraging software applications and tools to meet customer requirements.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's: Associates' degree and 10 years of relevant experience in information technology, leveraging software applications and tools to meet customer requirements.
• Appropriate ND 50-05/DoD 8570.01-M certification.
• Experience in researching, evaluating and deploying advanced cloud computing systems supporting large data analytics.
• Knowledge with various cloud technologies and experience in providing infrastructure support in a hybrid cloud environment.
• Ability to travel domestically.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
