Senior Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with expertise in building full-stack applications using AWS, React, and NodeJS. This role involves creating CI/CD pipelines with AWS tools like CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and Terraform, enhancing business processes, and aligning with the agency's architectural goals.

Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business requirements into scalable AWS micro frontend solutions. Develop front-end components and back-end services for cloud and hybrid infrastructures. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate updates and feature deployments. Ensure solution completeness through thorough testing and quality assurance processes. Apply DevOps principles to streamline the SDLC and enhance automation. Provide technical expertise and ensure solutions align with business needs. Lead other full stack developers on the team. Qualifications: Expertise in developing AWS full stack applications using NodeJS and React. Proficiency in micro-frontends orchestration and cloud platforms. Experience in API development and cloud networking/security best practices. Understanding of serverless computing and event-driven architecture. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation and Terraform. Strong scripting and automation skills with NodeJS and Python. Experience in setting up monitoring and logging for cloud infrastructure. Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with NoSQL databases like AWS DynamoDB. Experience in securing applications with IAM, role-based authorization, and AWS Cognito. Additional Considerations: AWS Solution Architect Professional Certification is desired. Experience in Single-SPA with React JS is required. Experience building applications using AWS Lambdas and NodeJS for backend. Must Have: 10 years of expertise in building micro-frontend applications using ReactJS and Single-Spa frameworks. 10 years of expertise in designing and building backend API services using NodeJS with AWS Lambda and API Gateway. 10 years of expertise in DevOps practices including building CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy/CodePipelines. 10 years of expertise in automating provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, and Terraform. 10 years of expertise in writing scripts and automating tasks using Python. 10 years of experience with serverless computing concepts and platforms. 10 years of experience in setting up alerts, dashboards, and logs for cloud infrastructure and applications. 10 years of proficiency working with NoSQL databases including AWS DynamoDB. 10 years of experience securing applications through role-based authorization, single sign-on, and AWS Cognito. 10 years of understanding cloud networking concepts and cloud security best practices.
