A well-established civil engineering and surveying firm with over 60 years of service is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Seattle-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer to work on a variety of public infrastructure projects in a collaborative and innovation-driven environment.
About the Role
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you'll play a key role in the design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects, including stormwater systems and utility improvements. You'll provide technical guidance to junior staff, coordinate with project managers, and contribute to the preparation of engineering plans, reports, and cost estimates. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals committed to mentorship and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide design direction and technical support for civil infrastructure projects
- Guide junior engineers and technicians in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, Civil 3D workflows, and report preparation.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
- Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for submittal packages.
- Conduct drainage calculations and oversee the development of stormwater reports.
- Ensure compliance with local jurisdictional requirements and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
- PE license in Washington State
- 4+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably with a focus on public infrastructure or municipal projects.
- Strong proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of local permitting and engineering standards.
- Valid U.S. driver's license and authorization to work in the U.S.

- Salary Range: $115,000 - $135,000 annually, depending on experience
