Candidates should have a combination of relevant technical experience and education, with requirements varying based on degree level: 4-12 years of experience, depending on education level (High School Diploma/GED to Doctorate) All degrees must be from accredited institutions in fields directly related to the position Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders on technical decisions, best practices, and risk management Extensive experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS Adaptability to rapidly evolving cloud technologies and infrastructure management tools Outstanding communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills In-depth knowledge of network architecture and security principles Understanding of security and compliance requirements for cloud solutions Desired: Associate-level or higher commercial cloud certification (AWS or Azure preferred) Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework Proficiency in AWS security services (IAM, SCPs, Config, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector) Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform) and related languages (YAML, JSON, Python) Knowledge of automation tools like SaltStack, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
