Role Summary We are hiring a Technical Lead - FX Application Support based in the Capital Markets Foreign Exchange Division. The successful candidate will handle production support activities for applications in the CMFX bucket, working with teams across the UK, US, Sri Lanka, and Singapore to ensure near 100% availability. Responsibilities include user support, problem analysis, and deep-dive analysis into key applications. Responsibilities Acts as Recovery Manager during major incidents, providing technical or domain expertise. Handles major incidents, defining and executing recovery tasks, assessing impact, and ensuring timely escalation. Contributes to problem management and owns related actions. Follows ITSM processes to maintain SLA and SLO. Manages change requests, understanding potential impacts prior to approval. Provides application configuration, maintenance, and proposes system enhancements. Supports business users, investigates errors, data discrepancies, and liaises with software vendors for system improvements. Defines acceptance tests for new or updated systems. Builds domain knowledge related to workflows, data pipelines, and business policies. Develops and maintains CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or GitLab. Automates testing, integrates code analysis and security tools into pipelines. Implements deployment strategies such as blue-green and canary releases. Sets up monitoring and alerting with Datadog, Azure Monitor, etc., to proactively address issues. Creates dashboards and reports for system health and performance. Responds to incidents, performs root cause analysis, and applies preventive measures. Nice to Have Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
