Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer/Operations Center - Cleared (Clearance Required - Unarmed). At Allied Universal, a Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As a Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary Responsibilities: Alarm Monitoring: Operators monitor all physical security equipment on a global basis to ensure the physical security of all employees, contingents, and office spaces Access Management: Operators manage day to day access to all company facilities, ensuring compliance with customer, auditorial, and company policy CCTV System: Operators manage the companies CCTV system and process video footage request Provide access management to all company facilities Conduct alarm monitoring for Open Text facilities Manage all video footage requests in accordance with company policy Manage all access report requests in accordance with company policy Notify the appropriate personnel in an emergency Notify, direct, and assist emergency personnel in the event of an emergency Liaison between clients, other departments, and company leadership during an emergency Directing visitors to the appropriate areas Monitor and control removal of company and personal property Report all building utility/ service issues as observed and instructed to facilities Manage the day-to-day requirements for the Companies Anti-tailgating program Evaluate and recommend improved procedural safety/security protocols or processes Display exceptional customer service and communication skills Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site Work flexible schedules, including some nights Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms Act as a first responder in emergency situations QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment Work experience must include of the following: Demonstrated analytic and critical thinking skills and ability to expertly prepare reports Ability to use logic and reasoning to reach conclusions and approaches to problems Demonstrated high level of competency with advanced computer systems (e.g., hardware, software, and networks) Possession of highly proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications Ability to communicate effectively with IT and Security Systems professionals Demonstrated ability to operate radio, telephone equipment and/or console monitors Flexibility to work various shifts and willingness to assist the team when needed Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and work under pressure Comfortable in an environment where there is an expectation for constant learning Effective oral and written communication skills Active listening skills Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately Attention to detail Problem solving skills Compile, sort, and interpret data Identify critical issues quickly and accurately Encourage effective teamwork Mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy Handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
