Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time School Psychologist position provides the opportunity to support students across grades K-12 at a flagship location with occasional assistance at a nearby school. Located in Mountain View, CA, this on-site role is ideal for licensed psychologists passionate about making a difference in educational settings. Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for K-12 students to identify learning needs and barriers
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services addressing academic, emotional, and behavioral challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting student well-being
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical and legal guidelines
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure as required by the state
- Experience working with diverse student populations in K-12 settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with school staff and families
- Bilingual skills preferred but not mandatory
Position Details:
- Contract role for the current school year with a possibility of extension into the next year if needed
