14073 - SCADA Applications Engineer (remote) - Juno Beach, FL

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Remote, with travel required 50% of the time.
Required:
• Experience with commissioning and integration of SCADA systems;
• Experience with control system architecture and PLC programs;
• Driver's license.
Preferred:
• Experience with Ignition, OPC protocol and SCADA historian;
• Experience with automation protocols (Modbus, DNP3, CAN, OPC, EtherNet/IP, others);
• Experience with RTU to RTU interface and Programming;
• Experience with schedule and planning;
• Experience with electrical and communications plan-sets;
• Experience with AC and DC circuits and troubleshooting abilities;
• Experience with of Utility Meters, Substation RTAC, Protection Relays;
• Experience with managed switches (Hirschman's, MOXA, Cisco, etc.);
• Experience with networking, Cyber Security and Firewalls;
• Experience with renewable SCADA and control systems;
• Experience with 0-10 volt and 4-20 mA loop knowledge and troubleshooting;
• Experience with SCADA and communication schematics and drawings;
• Project Management experience handling multiple consultants, vendors and EPCs;
• Experience with third-party firm management;
• Bachelor or Equivalent degree in Engineering or Automation System with experience or related education with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA).
Responsibilities:
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently on a daily basis;
• Standing on feet for extended periods of time;
• Ability to work at desk position in front of a computer monitor for extensive periods of time;
• Bending, stooping, and twisting frequently to move inventory and other items;
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle for purposes of commuting between 2 working locations;
• Review and comment on SCADA engineering design;
• Report daily, weekly, and monthly on progress to management.
