Paragon Cyber Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented, technically savvy Sales Engineer (GovCon BD Pipeline Support) to support our federal business development efforts. You will manage and refine our opportunity pipeline, conduct early-stage opportunity vetting, and support capture and pre-proposal activities. This role is ideal for a former engineer, cybersecurity consultant, or GovCon professional looking to transition into growth strategy and pre-sales.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review new BD opportunities for technical and strategic fit
  • Maintain and update Sales / BD pipelines
  • Ensure all opportunities have assigned follow-up actions and task deadlines
  • Draft follow-up emails, coordinate government and customer reach-outs, and track responses
  • Support pre-capture activities (market research, teaming coordination, intel gathering)
  • Flag opportunities for decision-making (go/no-go)

Qualifications:

  • Experience in cybersecurity, IT services, or GovCon technical delivery
  • Familiarity with GSA eBuy, SAM.gov, and common GWACs (e.g., Seaport NxG, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Bonus: CMMC, CCP certification, or previous proposal support experience
