We're a growing and forward-thinking firm delivering critical water and wastewater projects across NYC and nationally. As a Resident Engineer, you'll be at the heart of planning, design, construction, and commissioning efforts-making a tangible impact on the city's most vital systems.
What You'll Do
- Lead with Expertise: Serve as the technical lead on water and wastewater treatment projects of all sizes-from small upgrades to large-scale infrastructure.
- Own the Project: Manage small to medium-sized projects, overseeing scope, schedule, and budget with full project management responsibilities.
- Be in the Field: Conduct site visits, oversee field work, and support pilot testing to ensure quality and compliance.
- Mentor & Grow Talent: Provide hands-on training and guidance to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
- Support Construction Services: Review contractor submittals, evaluate RFIs, and ensure conformance with contract documents during construction.
- Drive Business Development: Assist in proposal preparation, including scope development and fee estimation.
- Licensed PE in New York State (required) or NJ PE
- 5-15 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering working with NYCDEP
- Proven ability to lead field teams and manage project delivery
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills
- Willingness to travel locally for site work and field activities

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
