Kerry is the world's leading taste and nutrition company for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries and we are hiring a Reliability Engineer to join our Byesville, OH facility. As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing machine reliability by measuring and improving Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR). You will also refine Preventive Maintenance Work Instructions and support continuous improvement efforts in both maintenance and operations. About the role
This role is pivotal in driving equipment reliability and optimizing maintenance strategies. You'll focus on improving uptime, reducing repair durations, and supporting the deployment of predictive maintenance technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive reliability analysis.
- Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).
- Review and enhance preventive maintenance work instructions and their frequency.
- Support the implementation and expansion of predictive maintenance strategies.
- Measure and evaluate MTBF and MTTR.
- Provide documentation support for capital projects.
Qualifications and skills
Key Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong ability to interpret, analyze, and present technical information with practical judgment.
- Effective team player with the capability to work independently and drive initiatives forward.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in delivering compelling presentations in both group settings and one-on-one.
- Knowledgeable in data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis.
- Skilled in using data analysis software applications.
- Familiar with standard quality and reliability tools such as FMEA, Weibull Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and Statistics.
The typical hiring range for this role is $107,757 to $181,563 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
