Reliability Engineering Consultant i.e. a Bada$$ Reliability Engineer
Top 3: Reliability Engineering, High Level, combination of MTBF or MTTF or Bathtub Curve analysis, electromechanical product + regulated industry (ideally medical)
High-level Reliability Engineering Consultant from a regulated industry background-ideally automotive, aerospace, or medical devices. This will be a full-time consulting engagement expected to last 6-8 months.
The consultant will:
- Coach their team on evaluating and improving the reliability of an electromechanical hand piece.
- Help them understand and apply concepts like MTBF, MTTF, and Bathtub Curve analysis.
- Assess whether they have the right data, what additional data is needed, and whether accelerated testing is required.
- Recommend medium-level design changes (not full redesigns) to improve reliability.
- Guide ROI analysis for potential design improvements.
