Job Summary: Leads and participates in the architecture and development of software driving a modern software package(s) that is second to none in the heat tracing controls industry. The successful candidate has a sound understanding of frontend architectures and proven ability successfully deliver maintainable, feature rich software to market. As a member of the R&D software Group, you will be expected to continuously stay up-to-date with emerging software technologies, embrace modern design architectures and best practices and deliver software as planned. Full stack code delivery throughout the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) Object Oriented analysis and design Database experience with a Relational Database Management Systems (SQL, Oracle, or similar) Modern development patterns and platforms (Microservices, Web Services (REST), Containers, Cloud Native) Stimulate and develop ideas and concepts and convert them into software products and design technology Champion software products across business unit stakeholders and drive successful releases Actively participates in team discussions to align and deliver quality products Ensure that project activities are accurately documented and easily retrievable Review, evaluate and establish priorities of software tasks Drive products with an understanding and appreciation for the importance of securing customer data Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Software Engineer Proficiency in object-oriented programming (C#, .NET) Proficiency and hands-on experience with database technologies (SQL Server, MySQL) Advanced CI/CD knowledge including automated builds and deployments and developing pipelines with GitHub Actions. Embraces an Atlassian workflow (JIRA, Confluence) Experience developing web apps with modern UI frameworks (React, Angular) You love collecting data about your UI as much as building it to make decisions based on usage Strong Knowledge of maintaining and debugging live software systems.
