Job Description:
Pay Range: $45hr - $50hr
Requirement:
Robot Wrangler: Oversee daily robot setups and operations; monitoring, maintaining, and conducting of various lab experiments, which involves dataset collection related to the operations of the robot and its performance of various assigned tasks and maintaining both hardware and software configurations of the robots and associated hardware
Robot Maintenance: Provide Basic Mechatronics Services –maintaining the robotic fleet’s health and maintenance.
Perform root cause analysis / troubleshooting to resolve software and / or robotics breaks.
Actively communicate root cause analysis findings to engineers for improvement.
Debug issues to ensure robots can operate as instructed.
Create and maintain documentation.
Engineering Technical Support: Assembly of precision electro/mechanical systems including tight tolerance mechanical assemblies, electrical wire routing and cable termination.
Align, fit, and assemble component parts, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures and appropriate shop tools.
Test Engineering: Prepare and edit all documentation associated with test engineering.
Conduct and ensure all testing is appropriately coordinated within team.
Electrical and Instrumentation Technician: Conduct and install all electrical/electronic equipment, instrumentation, components, harnesses and cabling requirements for robotic test setups.
Organise the lab layout and move electrical equipment, instrumentation and cabling as required.
Mechatronics Engineering: Develop hardware from initial conceptual stages through to final bring up Apply varying levels of engineering disciplines (i.e. mechanical, electrical, software) to assess the current state of robots and make recommendations to improve efficiency or solve technical problems.
DevOps: Analyse data related to Robot Data, recognise patterns, and design solutions based on the observations Write and review technical documents, including design, development, and revision documents.
Write, review and test code in compiled or scripted languages.
