: Hybrid, Min 3 days on site: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays must be on-site / First First, 6am-3pm / 9am-6pm
Performs basic structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance. Supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied. Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements. Works under general supervision.
Project/day-to-day activities: Philadelphia Design Center (PDC) supports aerospace programs throughout the client enterprise including: 787, Airforce-1, Autonomous Systems, F-18, Space Launch Systems, Starliner, etc... PDC stress analysts provide substantiation for critical Boeing programs
Required Skills : Structural Analysis Experience, classical analysis and finite element analysis experience.
Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Client tools erospace analysis experience
Education/experience: Typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training bility to pass Background, Drug Screen and if applicable Medical (i.e. Vision, Hearing, or Physical) if Required by Client. Medical, dental, vision, ancillary coverage and 401k benefits are available.
