We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to significantly impact our operations by ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our products, improving our processes, and driving continuous quality improvement. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in Quality Assurance, Process Improvement, Root Cause Analysis, Quality Management, and Quality Systems in the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
2. Promote quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization.
3. Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot manufacturing/business and assembly issues, material flow, project plans, production capacity, facility design and create process documentation.
4. Collaborate with supply chain partners to ensure quality standards are in place.
5. Design, implement and document procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
6. Engage with customers, suppliers, engineers, and manufacturing staff to ensure quality standards are met.
7. Set up and maintain controls and documentation for quality management systems.
8. Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
9. Use relevant quality tools and make sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business.
10. Ensure tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated, and that product modifications are investigated if necessary.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
3. Proven experience in Quality Assurance, Process Improvement, Root Cause Analysis, Quality Management, and Quality Systems.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures.
5. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with quality inspection tools and software.
9. Certification in Quality Engineering, Quality Auditing, or Quality Management is a plus.
