There is great shopping & eating from groovy little cafes to microbreweries.<BR> Automotive client seeks a Quality Engineer who will provide quality support to production operations to ensure integrity of products. Youll be instrumental in driving quality improvement with the goal of zero defects! Team focused company that takes pride in their quality image, product performance, and customer service.
As the Quality Engineer, youll oversee the integrity of the product quality, drive and champion quality improvements efforts. Provide analysis, guidance and support within the Process Improvement activities. You will be responsible for New Product Qualifications, verification of changes, and work through the application of APQP to support external customers.
Other duties include optimizing: Process capabilities on significant characteristics through effective application and training of production control problem-solving. Utilize analytical skill set to implement root cause analysist and corrective action plans Identify improvement opportunities Develop proposals Provide and implement training for mistake-proofing throughout the manufacturing process.
Minimum requirements for this Quality Engineer: Bachelor Degree in Engineering At least 1 year of experience in a Quality role in the automotive industry Knowledge of automotive Quality tools such as QS-9000 and TS-16949 quality standards Experience with Problem Solving methodologies such as 5 Why, 8-D, etc. Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills Proficient at MS Office & typical QA software.<BR> TO APPLY: Email your resume OR in MS Word or PDF. * All Interview, relocation, & fee expenses paid by hiring companies.
