Quality Engineer - Electronics Manufacturing

The Quality Engineer - Electronics Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes in compliance with ISO 9001, IPC standards, and other applicable industry regulations.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for product and process issues.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to integrate quality standards into product design and manufacturing.
Perform inspections and testing of electronic components, PCB assemblies, and finished products using precision measurement tools and test equipment.
Support incoming material inspection, supplier quality management, and supplier audits.
Analyze quality data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
Prepare and maintain documentation such as control plans, inspection reports, and process validation records.
Provide training and support to production staff on quality procedures, workmanship standards, and inspection techniques.
Participate in internal and external quality audits to ensure ongoing compliance and certification readiness.

The Successful Applicant
The ideal Quality Engineer - Electronics Manufacturing will have the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent technical experience).
3+ years of quality engineering experience in electronics or PCB manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, and other relevant industry standards.
Experience with statistical process control (SPC), measurement system analysis (MSA), and failure analysis techniques.
Familiarity with electronics testing methods, soldering quality standards, and ESD controls.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software; experience with ERP systems a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.

Base Salary of $70,000-$90,000 depending on experience
