Job Description
The Quality Engineer (Aerospace) will: Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems in compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer requirements. Support First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 and oversee documentation packages. Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective/preventive action efforts (CAPA) using tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone diagrams. Analyze quality data, perform trend analysis, and generate regular reports to identify and reduce non-conformances. Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement. Participate in internal audits and assist in external audits conducted by customers and regulatory bodies. The Successful Applicant
The successful Quality Engineer (aerospace) will have: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 3-7 years of experience in a quality engineering role, ideally in aerospace or a similar regulated manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of AS9100, ISO 9001, and FAI/PPAP processes. Comfortable using tools like Minitab, Solidworks, Excel, and other quality software for data analysis. Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience with supplier quality interactions is a plus. Experience with SPC. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus. What's on Offer
