Responsibilities:
Assists in developing quality control policies and evaluates production limitations
Collaborates with engineering team and production functions to ensure quality standards are in place
Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment
Support first article Inspection and approve materials, final product assemblies by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
Develop, maintain, and generate CMM program and perform inspections across various stages of production
Inspect parts and audit products according to quality and process standards. Inspection can be performed through visual, layout, dimensional, or non-destructive tests.
May undertake root cause analysis of incidents requiring corrective action
Read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications to establish correct inspection criteria
Record observations and create documentation or reports regarding inspection and testing results
Ensures that corrective measures and deviation meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements
May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality
May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality methodologies and utilize quality tools to help drive continuous improvement
Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance standards

Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Engineering
1 – 2+ years of industry experience
Blueprints reading and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
Familiar with mathematical and engineering principles and methods used to design electrical systems
Microsoft Office Suite experience in Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook
Ability to travel
Proven ability to overcome obstacles and get results

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
