Role Overview:

Axonius Federal Systems is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer, Lead to join our growing team! In this role, youll have the opportunity to oversee manual testing for customer-facing features. This role involves collaborating with engineering and product teams, coordinating cross-team testing, and executing stress and load tests. In addition, youll investigate complex defects, validate test plans, and work with backend systems to ensure high-quality releases. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead manual QA processes and efforts as part of the release process for customers facing features.
• Work closely with multiple engineering and product teams
• Support developers to determine test plans for complex features and deliveries.
• Review and validate tests written by developers and other QA members.
• Report status to QA and Dev management regularly.
• Organize and coordinate cross-team testing efforts for features/releases/special versions.
• Perform stress, load and longevity tests for different parts of the system (UI and backend scenarios) to reveal severe issues before they are meeting our customers in production.
• Investigate and analyze complex defects in user workflows to identify the problems root cause and provide reproduction steps.
• Use troubleshooting and diagnosis tools to identify functional defects,
• Review and reproduce customer defects.
• Work closely with the backend services (e.g. DB, MQ, jobs scheduler)
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, with at least 2 years in a mentor role within an applications environment
• Strong background in testing methodologies, QA tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail), and agile development environments.
• Experience creating and maintaining test documentation and standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working in a fast-paced SaaS applications environment
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of security or compliance-related testing (e.g., FedRAMP, ISO, HIPAA).
• Experience with test management platforms and scripting languages.
