Position : QA Engineer Automated Location: Austin , TX (Hybrid ) Duration:12 Months contract Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mon & Tues) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50-mile radius). The candidate needs a strong technical background with proficiency in scripting languages like java script, visual basic script and python along with understanding of CI/CD process. Skills 8 Years Strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users. 8 Years Strong background in developing test suites in UFT or similar tool. 8 Years Skilled with Database query languages (SQL, PL/SQL) 6 Years Skilled in developing Requirements Traceability Matrices. 6 Years Skilled in developing and executing Test Scripts. 6 Years Skilled in developing Test Plans and coordinating User Acceptance Testing. 6 Years Experience with general IT SDLC processes. 4 Years Experience using JIRA for managing project/sprint tasks. 4 Years Working in a Agile SDLC environment. 4 Years Experience using Jira to track work assignments. 1 Year Experience working on projects utilizing agile project management methodologies.
