- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and define infrastructure solutions.
- Design and validate practical, scalable, and secure virtualization solutions.
- Perform critical changes related to disaster recovery, data center migrations, and capacity planning on Wintel platforms.
- Script and automate tasks using PowerShell or VBScript.
- Deploy, configure, and manage VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments.
- Create and manage Virtual Machines (VMs), templates, and clusters.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization.
- Manage and configure Active Directory, HA Clusters, and Windows Server roles like DNS, DHCP, Exchange, and Certificate Services.
- Understand and work with SAN/NAS storage, networking, and virtualization security best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure and VMware virtualization.
- Proficient in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter administration.
- Strong scripting skills using PowerShell or VB Script.
- Experience in Wintel administration, including disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, HA Cluster configuration, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, and Certificate Authority.
- Good understanding of SAN/NAS, networking concepts, and virtualization security.
- Must be able to work from the office (onsite work is mandatory).
