POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The employee will be responsible for monitoring client schedules, resolving technical and commercial issues, communicating technical resolutions, hiring, and managing field crews for installations. The Project Manager will develop lasting business relationships with Electrical Utility Corporations throughout the United States. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize the progress of the project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.
Essential Functions
· Present the product and all features to customers at events such as conferences and seminars
· Conduct in-depth product demonstrations of products/services
· Travel throughout all sales territories
· Negotiate contract terms
· Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
· Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
· Interface between the customer, internal clients, and subcontractors
· Hold and document internal Contract Review Meetings where the order is reviewed before final acceptance
· Issue paperwork and instructions to appropriate departments for the release of new orders
· Track and communicate engineering and production schedules to the customer
· Escort customers through the factory during factory inspections
· Entertain clients visiting the factory
· Produce and track invoices
· Follow up with customers on overdue payments
· Create documentation necessary for producing sales representative commission statements

· Strong understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts
· Ability to read engineering drawings
· Ability to work independently or on a team
Education and Experience
· A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and Word
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven working experience in planning and project management.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Attentive, a good listener, and able to follow instructions
Physical Job Demands
Lifting/carrying/moving 1-50 lbs. Involves sitting at a desk for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity to operate specialized equipment. Ability to hear telephone conversations and speak clearly. May need a high level of concentration in a busy area.
working Conditions
· Monday through Friday. Overnight, weekend, overtime, and/or travel may be required.
· Office dress is business casual.
