Summary:

This role is responsible for managing projects from the time an order is secured through to completion. Once the order is placed by our customer, the job will be transferred by the Sales Engineer to the Project Manager (PM). The PM engages and communicates with the customer and suppliers, provides timely communication, places necessary Purchase Orders, tracks material shipment/deliveries, submits invoices and ensures the project is successful from start to closure. This position requires strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Communicates with customers and suppliers regularly to provide status updates, discuss material delivery status, resolve problems with projects during the order fulfillment process.
•Coordinates Submittal approval process
•Proposal Development: Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and bids for switchgear projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
•Management of Services: Provide service proposals for equipment sold to customer. Coordinate between vendor/manufacturer and the customer for the start and completion of services.
•Places Purchase Orders to our suppliers
•Tracks open/outstanding quotations with customers and suppliers to determine status and negotiate completion.
•Follows established standards and procedures for project reporting, communication, project scheduling and documentation.
•Prepares and submits customer quotations/proposals on an as needed basis for changes during the life of a project.
•Regularly processes Invoices and tracks payments
•Completes and Closes out a project

Requirements

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree required. Technical field preferred.
•3-5 years experience in project management and/or the electrical field preferred.
•Excellent communication including both written and verbal.
•Strong customer service orientation.
•Low and medium voltage systems knowledge preferred.
•Proficiency in software applications such MS Office, Excel, and ERP (Solar Eclipse and SE Advantage) systems.
•Square D product knowledge a plus.
•Job Management software experience a plus.
•Proficient in 1-lines and take-offs.
