# Project Implementation Engineer
## Job Overview Our company is searching for a **Project Implementation Engineer** to be responsible for the implementation of complex radio systems that satisfy specific customer requirements. This includes:
- Supporting system staging, deployment, optimization, and troubleshooting - Preparing and updating system documentation
These radio systems involve APCO Project 25 communications systems and vendor equipment and typically include:
- RF base station & repeater equipment - Microwave links - IP networks - Wireless data - RF antenna subsystems - 911 dispatch - Interoperability - Other custom subsystems
Our Implementation Engineers are directly responsible for building out systems that enable public safety, education, public works, and business organizations to effectively communicate and deliver services. **What we do matters — it’s a job you can take pride in.**
This is a **critical, customer-facing role** that requires working onsite at customer locations and interacting directly with customers as well as project managers, service technicians, and installation crews. To succeed, candidates must be:

Requirements## Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in an engineering/science discipline from an accredited college/university - 2+ years of experience configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting RF and/or IP network solutions - Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, Linux, VMware, and Hyper-V - Proficiency with network test equipment and protocols (IP network analyzers, SSH, FTP, Cisco and Linux command line prompts, etc.) - Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio - Must pass pre-employment screening (background check and routine drug test) - Valid driver’s license - Ability to travel up to **60% domestically** to meet project and customer needs - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics to nontechnical audiences

## Additional Desirable Qualifications - Certifications (Cisco, CompTIA, Juniper, Nokia, or similar) - Knowledge/experience with Cisco, Aviat, Nokia, MNI, L3Harris, Motorola, Tait, Kenwood - Experience deploying and troubleshooting digital voice communication systems - Knowledge of radio communication systems, RF, microwave, and fiber optics
