Provide maintenance and engineering support for the Macon facility. Complete installation and startup of new equipment / machines and continue with the maintenance of such installed equipment / machines. Adhere to Freudenberg safety procedures and OSHA guidelines, including correctly and consistently wearing required PPE to work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following corporate and industry safety rules and procedures Provide leadership to the site’s mechanics, electricians, and control technicians. Provide functional leadership and creativity in the initiation of design, development, and optimization of equipment and processes to meet the business objectives. Develop knowledge and skills in leadership of the application of engineering principles, scientific analysis and project management. Qualifications:
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field 3+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment Experience supporting projects within sustainability, maintenance, electrical, and additional related areas. Ability to communicate with a variety of levels of colleagues, from production to leadership, as well as internationally.
