Job Details
As a Project Manager for Stucco/Drywall/Metal Framing, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic construction team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a solid background in drywall, metal framing, and project management. You will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be working with a diverse team of professionals, coordinating and managing all project activities, and ensuring that all project objectives are met. Our ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a dedication to excellence.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion. * Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs. * Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors. * Meet contractual conditions of performance. * Review the work progress on a daily basis. * Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones. * Analyze, manage and mitigate risks. * Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques. * Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment. * Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists. * Provide regular updates to clients on the progress of projects.
Qualifications:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in drywall, metal framing, and project management. * Proven working experience in construction project management. * Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods. * Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards. * Understanding of all facets of the construction process. * Familiarity with construction management software packages. * Ability to plan and see the “big picture”. * Competent in conflict and crisis management. * Excellent time and project management skills. * Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of professionals. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred. * PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.
