NAME OF EMPLOYER: Performance Contracting Group, Inc. POSITION TITLE: Project Engineer POSITION LOCATION: 1080 Marina Village Parkway, Suite 300, Alameda, CA 94501 JOB DESCRIPTION: Accountable for labor control on assigned projects, including detailed setup, and maintenance. Prepare RFI’s and submittals and shop drawings. Quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders. Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen. Effectively communicate issues to negotiate the optimal position for our trade in the work sequence. Create and manage punch lists. Create and manage job closeout documentation. Support the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program. Coordinate warranties and O&M’s. Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing. Complete and be accountable for the job cost control measures through monthly Financial Analysis Worksheets (FAW’s) on assigned projects. Actively participate in the safety plans and measures of the branch and assigned projects. Support the branch through positive customer relations and active participation in the Customer Alignment Plan. REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Construction Management, Construction Science, Civil Engineering, plus 1 year of experience as a Project Engineer or related. Required: OSHA Certification. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: 1) Interpreting specifications and drawings for construction projects; 2) Implementing job cost control and risk assessment measures through monthly Financial Analysis worksheets on assigned project; 3) Preparing RFI’s, submittals and shop drawings; 4) Managing quality control measures and jobsite safety hazards; and 5) Utilizing cost estimation software including On-Screen Takeoffs, Quickbid, BlueBeam Revu, PlanGrid or Navisworks Manage to do take-off, material ordering, pricing change orders, document control, schedule analysis and project planning. RATE OF PAY: $101,878 per year Benefits
