Project Engineer – Civil Engineering Design

We are seeking a full-time, qualified, and motivated Project Engineer with 2–3+ years of progressive experience in the design of private subdivision and land development projects.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)

  • EIT or PE certification (preferred)

  • Relevant continuing education or coursework

  • 2–3+ years of progressive design experience in land development

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Hydroflow, and Microsoft Office

  • Understanding of stormwater management, E&S design, grading, utilities, and road profiles

  • Familiarity with zoning, stormwater, subdivision, and land development regulations

Responsibilities:

  • Design subdivision and land development projects across residential, commercial, retail, industrial, and institutional sectors

  • Review and apply zoning, subdivision, stormwater, and other regulatory requirements

  • Prepare sketch plans, site plans, grading, utilities, and road & utility profile plans

  • Assist senior designers and prepare design packages, reports, and submissions

  • Collaborate regularly with project managers and team members to coordinate goals, schedules, and project progress

  • Manage time effectively and communicate project status frequently
