This Project Engineer will be helping guide the team through the certification process. The program is a mix platform so has an FAATC. They are installing military capabilities in accordance to the handbook 516. The role is to make sure they are producing all the artifacts and walking through the design process through the certification effort. They'll be coordinating with unit members, coordinating with DERS, but they're really focused on helping our engineering team provide the right artifacts that are required. They will also follow up with engineering on cost and schedule and their understanding of any technical issues. They will have a high level understanding of documents, hear challenges, and relay status and issues.
-Lead cross-functional engineering teams in program execution and bid/proposal activities.
-Provide technical leadership to resolve design and integration challenges
-Provide leadership in program planning, guidance, and engineering execution within scope, schedule, and budget.
-Track Engineering Performance Metrics and brief program status on a monthly basis to senior engineering leadership
-Track cost and schedule execution and be able to explain any variances and the path to get back to program targets
-Ensure program execution and Bid/Proposal development are in accordance with engineering processes and policies
-Lead teams in developing Technical Volume responses to customer ROMs, RFIs, and RFPs
-Ensure compliance with performance, reliability, and safety standards
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
