Manufacturing Design Engineer

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Pay Rate: $37-$50/hour

We are seeking a Manufacturing Design Engineer to join a growing team specializing in industrial and wastewater treatment equipment. This position is based in Alpharetta, GA, and offers the opportunity to work hands-on with manufacturers to ensure high-quality standards for custom equipment. You will also assist with installation and training at client job sites across the U.S. and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed fabrication drawings using Inventor.
• Develop comprehensive project documentation, including BOMs and general arrangement drawings.
• Collaborate directly with manufacturers to maintain project timelines and ensure quality standards.
• Assist with equipment installation and training at client locations as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• BSME or BSMET degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in designing industrial or wastewater treatment equipment.
• Proficiency in Inventor for producing detailed design and fabrication drawings.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage projects from design through installation.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% (U.S. and Canada).
