We're seeking a hands-on Production Engineer for technical/production support, process/product development and optimization of Aerospace investment casting processes and systems. The Production Engineer is focused on implementing best practices for trouble shooting and to ensure process control; utilizing Lean tools and methodologies to positively impact the business metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support engineering efforts by repairing critical equipment and introducing new processes optimization or improvements
- Apply Lean, CI, and Six Sigma methodologies to improve manufacturing systems and product performance
- Lead projects from concept to completion, managing technical, budget, and schedule requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop component designs and repairs that meet performance, cost, and durability goals
- Own assigned components or processes through all manufacturing stages, identifying and implementing improvements
- Prepare technical documentation and present findings to internal and external stakeholders
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering field
- Familiarity with aerospace and gas turbine components, including investment casting methods
- Minimum 2 years' experience supporting technical teams in product development and production, with a focus on improving process and product maturity
- Understanding of measurement techniques such as CMM, white-light/laser scanning, and precision gaging
- Knowledge of metal and ceramic finishing processes, tools, and equipment
- Basic understanding of NDT methods, especially fluorescent penetrant, and X-ray inspection
- Working knowledge of aerospace welding, particularly with Nickel and Cobalt-based alloys
- Strong grasp of core mechanical engineering and materials science principles
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications
- Proficient in Lean manufacturing, Continuous Improvement (CI), and Six Sigma methodologies
