Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a Production Support Engineer to join their team. As a Production Support Engineer, you will be part of the IT department supporting critical enterprise application platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement, which will align successfully with the organization. Job Title: Production Support Engineer Location: Wilmington, Delaware; Omaha, Nebraska; Austin, Texas Pay Range: $55-$65 per hour, w2 What's the Job? Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, automate, and maintain critical enterprise application platforms in production.
Involve in various change deployments for application enhancements or to fix issues reported by users.
Support in the resolution of incidents and problems, ensuring effective problem-solving techniques are applied.
Perform deep dive application reviews and provide feedback to enhance the quality of application code artifacts.
Assist with data processing and troubleshooting activities alongside L2 support.
What's Needed? 3+ years of solid experience as an application production support engineer in a 24x7 uptime environment.
Strong understanding of Linux environments and various operating systems (e.g., RedHat Linux, AIX, Windows).
Experience with log parsing technologies like Splunk and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.
Hands-on scripting experience using shell, Perl, PowerShell, or Python for automation purposes.
Good understanding of ITIL concepts and experience in service delivery processes including Incident Management.
