Product Applications Engineer

This role involves programming machines using CAD/CAM software to perform test cuts and generate reports that support sales efforts. The position requires performing machine demonstrations for customers, including programming and analyzing results, as well as providing machine operation classes and training to new customers both on-site and off-site. Continued technical support on machine setup, programming, and operations is essential, along with using analysis and testing to assist customers in identifying machine problems and finding solutions. Coordination of weekly application work schedules with management and participation in industry trade shows are also part of the responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Program machine via CAD/CAM software to perform test cuts and generate test cut reports to aid in sales efforts.

Perform machine demonstrations to customers, including programming and analyzing results.

Provide on-site and off-site machine operation classes and training to new customers.

Provide customers with continued technical support on machine setup, programming, and operations.

Use analysis and testing to assist customers in identifying machine problems and finding solutions.

Coordinate weekly application work schedule with management.

Participate in industry trade shows.

Essential Skills

Experience with CAD/CAM software.

Proficiency in programming CNC machines.

Hands-on experience with 5-axis Milling machines.

Familiarity with machine setup and installation.

Experience with Siemens NX CAM and Heidenhain controllers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required.

5 7 years of hands-on experience with 5-axis Milling Machines, including programming, setup, and machine operations preferred.

CAD/CAM training preferred.

Experience on Heidenhain/Siemens Controller preferred.

Excellent customer service skills with integrity and ethics.

Detail-oriented and able to complete work in a manufacturing environment.

Self-motivated, able to work with little or no supervision, and handle stressful situations calmly.

Work Environment

The work environment involves working with new products, requiring a detail-oriented approach in a manufacturing setting. Candidates must be self-motivated and capable of working independently, with occasional participation in trade shows. The role demands a high level of integrity and ethics, especially in customer interactions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr. They offer Health, dental, vision, 401k match and company bonus.
