Assesses processes for their relevance and efficiency of plant operations. Ability to train and supervise production and maintenance associates. Help establish training methods for assembly processes. Responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of various projects. Interface with machining, automation and able to trouble-shoot assembly equipment, mechanics and PLC programming. Provide guidance in equipment selection, overall operations and future expansion. Implement process improvements. Ensure that processes are working at optimum level of efficiency. Develop and track maintenance procedures. Responsible to track and implement process / equipment changes once direction and funding has been approved. Supports program meetings (both internally and with the Customer) as required and/or requested. Supervision of Maintenance staff, handling day to day troubleshooting issues. Supports all engineering related communication internally and with the Customer. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and/or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience Interfacing with machining & automation Experience trouble-shooting assembly equipment, mechanics and PLC programming. The candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills. Computer literacy and proficiency are also required (advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Power Point and AutoCAD). Self motivator who works with minimal direction, makes decisions independently, and is able to motivate others to complete the task at hand. Options
