Job Title: CNC Process EngineerJob Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Process Engineer to support our CNC Machining area through the application of engineering concepts and procedures. You will play a crucial role in developing new and current part fixtures, improving machining processes, and reducing waste by leveraging new and improved manufacturing technologies. Additionally, you will provide essential support to our customers by assisting with project support, training, and development activities.
Responsibilities
Develop new and current part fixtures and process improvements for CNC machining.
Involve in the development of processes that enable new business activities.
Improve current machining procedures using new or enhanced manufacturing technologies.
Support waste reduction activities across manufacturing and logistics operations.
Assist with customer projects, providing training and development support as needed.
Essential Skills
Strong knowledge of CNC Machining, including milling and turning, and other metal fabricating processes.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM-based software such as MasterCAM and SolidWorks.
Skills in CNC programming, process engineering, continuous improvement, and robotic programming.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in process development, parts fixture design, waste reduction, and project planning.
A degree is ideal but not required for candidates with the right skills.
At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Work Environment
This position is based in a metal fabrication shop, operating Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 3 PM. You can expect an average workweek of 40-50 hours. You will be the only CNC Process Engineer in the team, contributing to an environment with significant tenure and opportunities for growth.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.50 - $40.00/hr.
