Were hiring a Principal Security Systems Engineer to lead the design and deployment of physical security systems for some of the most advanced data centers in the world.
Youll architect and oversee a multi-layered, zero-trust physical security framework from perimeter defense to rack-level protection across a growing global portfolio of GPU-driven, AI-ready facilities. What You'll Do
Own the full lifecycle of physical security design across hyperscale data centers.
Define strategy and author master standards, specs, and drawings for security infrastructure.
Design and implement systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and biometrics.
Lead zoning layouts, mantrap flows, visitor access, and badging protocols.
Align security systems with DoD, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 standards.
Develop and manage project-specific documentation and local adaptations with external consultants.
Specify retention and encryption policies for logs, alarms, and video data.
Integrate physical security into DCIM and corporate SIEM platforms.
Ensure high resiliency with dual-path communications, UPS backups, and penetration testing programs.
What You Bring
10+ years designing enterprise or hyperscale physical security systems ideally in mission-critical environments.
Expert knowledge of:
ONVIF, SIA DC-09, OSDP, Wiegand, BACnet
Security ecosystems like Genetec, LenelS2, Honeywell, or Avigilon
Strong understanding of multi-site architecture, critical infrastructure, and compliance-driven design.
Hands-on experience delivering secure data center environments at scale.
Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
Bonus Points For
CISSP-ISSAP, PSP, or similar certifications
Experience working with or designing for DoD-classified or high-security environments
Familiarity with AI workloads, GPU clusters, or high-performance computing infrastructure
