How You'll help us to connect the world:
Our growing team is hiring a Principal Automation Engineer - WiFi who is passionate about developing innovative Wi-Fi products. You should be comfortable with wired and wireless networking design and implementation.
You will have a strong background and hands-on experience in L2, L3, L4-L7, 802.11, automation scripting. You will work with the team to build Wi-Fi controller software features and automate software features on Access Points.
Responsibilities:
Develop automation for wireless features and performance using Robot Framework and Python.
Create wireless CI/CD pipelines to test WiFi performance on VeriWave and Spirent.
Collaborate with local and international engineering teams to create test automation based on existing test cases.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of QA automation experience for WiFi and L2/L3 switch products.
Proficiency in Python, Robot Framework, Jenkins, GIT, and scripting languages.
Knowledge of 802.11n, ac, ax, be11 r/k/v, Dot1x.
Experience with REST API automation and testing.
Experience with programmable attenuators and roaming.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies and hypervisors.
Knowledge of public/private/hybrid cloud platforms like OpenStack, GCE.
Experience with wireless networking tools such as VeriWave, Chariot, Spirent, Ixia, and wireless monitoring tools.
Familiarity with network protocol layers and network analyzers like WireShark, EtherReal, OmniPeek, Wi-spy, Aircap. Python, TCL-TK, Java scripting knowledge is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
Ability to write clear procedures, bug reports, and test documentation.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, EE, IS, Math, or equivalent.
Preferred: Additional network certifications.
Note: This is a HYBRID role based out of Sunnyvale, CA (3 days a week). Local candidates only.

Salary range: $135,000 - $175,600, based on experience and other factors.
